In recognition of these new products in the market, CSR Bricks & Roofing Qld held their inaugural Colour & Cocktails product launch at Customs House, Brisbane on 16th October.
The launch was attended by over 150 guests across all market segments including architects, builders, government bodies and architectural students. CEO, Jerry Maycock, and Bricks & Roofing’s EGM, Neill Evans, attended the night, adding their support and commitment to the division’s new colour philosophy.
In the past few months, both Bricks & Roofing have continued to develop their relationship with Colourways to enhance their product development strategy to make products that are “design materials”. Kathy Demos, Director of Colourways, provided guests a insight into psychology of colour. The impending 2010 Forecast being released by Colourways is indicating a return to design materials that are natural and kind to the environment. Greys are featuring very strongly as the most popular neutral, and aubergine is making a comeback!
CSR Roofing released four new colours in their Horizon range – Cashew, Abalone, Kava and Passionfruit. In addition, they gave the market a glimpse of their very exciting new product – Monier Solartile. This fully integrated PV system is at the height of innovation for the application, and much interest has been generated before being officially launched.
PGH Bricks & Pavers also showcased a plethora of new products including 3 new ranges, and the 2 new ranges of Pavers. One of the new brick ranges has been much anticipated to bring some on-trend colours to bricks in Queensland, and a great deal of effort has gone into getting them right. |
